Each November, the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PANCAN) holds it’s annual 5k Walk/Run to raise money and awareness for the fight against Pancreatic Cancer – the 3rd leading cause of cancer deaths in the U.S. Among the scores of fundraising teams participating in the event was Team Boychik, a south-jersey team led by high-school students. The teens found their efforts to perform charitable work hampered by the fact that many were too young to drive. The Bannett Group provided a bus to get this motivated group of young philanthropists to and from the event in the pre-dawn hours. Our restaurant client, Rockhill, even treated the team to lunch afterward. Like in construction, we know how to pick a winner… Team Boychik was the top fundraising team on the day raising over $43,000 for this great cause. What a tremendous effort!
