The Bannett Group built an inviting and modern facility when commissioned to construct a new Jewish Community Center on Long Beach Island, NJ. As the center of Jewish life for a largely seasonal congregation, The JCC of Long Beach Island needed a new building that could support a full calendar of services and activities for its nearly 250 members families. But with only 75 families using the facility year-round, the solution needed to be budget-friendly. The 10,000 square feet of new synagogue construction includes adequate classroom space, a library, offices and a kosher kitchen. The sanctuary has permanent seating for 120 worshipers but can also expand to accommodate roughly 400 congregants as needed.
