Field Superintendent

This role is a full-time, salaried, exempt position for commercial building construction. Our company produces projects throughout NJ, NY, PA, and other areas in the Mid-Atlantic and New England regions. Our base is in Cherry Hill, NJ, and most of our staff resides within 30 to 40 minutes of our main office. Daily travel is required to reach projects where you will be based during the work week.  A personal vehicle is required, and the company reimburses travel expenses at company rates. Benefits will include generous PTO, health, dental, vision, insurance, life insurance, and 401(k).

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

Our team is using Procore as a primary document management and project management tool, along with other technology such as Sage Timberline, Microsoft Project, Plan Grid, EarthCam, MS Office, and others. We are willing to train the right candidate, and 2-3 years prior experience is required for this role. Attention to details, management of tight time schedule, working collaboratively, and maintaining client relationships are paramount to success. Past successful candidates have had at least a two year technical or business degree, or training in a construction trade school program. A thorough working knowledge of reading and understanding construction drawings and documents is crucial to meeting the minimum requirements. Safety management on the project site is a key leadership responsibility for this role.

  • Minimum of 2-3 years on site construction experience
  • Must have commercial – out of the ground experience.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Basic knowledge of the iPad and the use of email
  • Ability to read and understands plans and specs is a must.
  • Completion of 2 years of college or trade school
  • OSHA 30 Hour Certification

Responsibilities:

You will be supporting a Project Manager with daily tasks such as managing subcontractors, coordinating daily activities on the site, creating weekly look-ahead schedules, meeting with building inspectors, managing deliveries, working with owner representatives, maintaining as-built documents and surveys, helping to update overall project time schedules and other ongoing project tasks.

Assistant Project Manager

The Bannett Group, Ltd, is a well-established, profitable, design-build firm located in Cherry Hill, NJ that has been in business for over 50 years.  We are experienced in a wide array of industries that include retail, restaurant, mixed-use development, healthcare, and commercial markets.  Our company produces projects throughout NJ, NY, PA, and other areas in the Mid-Atlantic and New England regions.

We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our team. This role is a full-time, exempt salaried position for commercial building construction.  This is NOT a remote position.  Some daily travel is required to reach projects during the week for meetings and inspection of the work.
