The green restaurant renovation of Harley Dawn Diner kicked off earlier this month in Folsom, NJ, with The Bannett Group tackling both the design and the construction of the new diner. More intensive than a traditional renovation project, the existing Harley Dawn building has been completely demolished, with a brand new restaurant being built in its place. The new 4,600 square foot diner will focus on green friendly initiatives, such as a geothermal sustainable design and energy drawn from solar panels. The interior design aesthetic will have a modern flair, with an exposed beam structure in the ceiling and polished concrete floors. The 85 seat diner will also feature a storefront wall of windows. We can’t wait for the unveiling of the new and improved Harley Dawn Diner, coming in early 2016!
